FODMAP stands for "fermentable oligo-, di-, mono-saccharides and polyols". This describes a group of short-chain carbohydrates that are not absorbed properly in the gut, and are thus notorious for triggering digestive symptoms such as bloating, gas and discomfort. For this reason, people suffering with digestive complaints often prefer to avoid high-FODMAP foods to help manage their symptoms.

All recipes below are either low-FODMAP by nature, or have a low-FODMAP option (usually the simple omission of an ingredient).
